Wrinkle Cream Reviews Rating: 20/100
The Dermapril-SP website had us pretty excited when we visited it at first. How we came upon the site was by reading some reviews on wrinkle cream review sites. ALL the reviews we read of Dermapril SP were from affiliates (who got paid when we bought Dermapril), so we knew right away there was a conflict of interest when believing their review of this product.
This product is also one of those “Forced Auto Ship” wrinkle creams, which are extremely unpopular with many people who don’t realize what they’re getting into when they buy.
At any rate, this wrinkle cream is pretty well known on the web, so we thought we’d give it a try and share our experience with our readers.
First Impressions:
Cool bottle, that comes in a box. It’s sort of metallic and modern looking, so we were kind of excited to try who LOOKED like a new age wrinkle cream. After we gave it a shot, though, we were less excited.
What’s in this wrinkle cream:
The only ingredient of note in Dermapril is Matrixyl 3000. Mind you, that this is not the original Matrixyl, but the new ingredient from the same manufacturer which is their “udpated version”. It is still an effective peptide based wrinkle solution, which we usually like. The thing is though, Dermapril has NO other real ingredients with scientific backup in it. They do have palmitoyl oligopeptide, which is effective in some other wrinkle creams we’ve reviewed.
The Deal when you buy this wrinkle cream:
OK, get ready.. You only pay shipping and handling AT FIRST for this product. They basically give it away for your first supply. Then you are given 14 days to try it and decide if you want it, or if you want to return it. Really.. who the heck could tell if a wrinkle cream is really working, in only 14 days. The point is, they KNOW nobody could really tell, but they play the odds, that most buyers won’t get the product returned in time to take advantage of the refund.
What happens after the 14 day period, is that you are billed about $70 A MONTH each month thereafter. So, your FREE Trial really costs like $69, and then you had better get ready to pay again and again each month. The website is a very slick sales machine. They basically put in bold writing and in colorful graphics, words like FREE, and then you get charged for it on a recurring basis.
Why We Didn’t Like Dermapril:
The main reason is the sneaky billing policies and short refund time. It even says in their FAQ section that any pump shipped after 14 days is 100% NON refundable. I mean they put it in the small writing, but then put in HUGE BOLD TEXT, the word FREE. Our staff really hates sneaky marketing like this, as it does nothing but cause consumers trouble.
Did the Wrinkle Cream Work?
If the wrinkle cream worked wonders, we might have overlooked the deceptive marketing they use. However, in the 14 days we were given to try the product (and it must be all they expect you to try it for), we say absolutely NO results whatsoever. It was a complete disappointment.
Did We Get the Refund?
We shall let you know. Our test orderer has not yet received the refund, and we DID comply with the 14 day rule. We are not hopeful, but we’ll see what happens.
Bottom Line: Get a different wrinkle cream, and don’t expect to get anything for free. It is much better to buy something that really works, than to fall victim to a wrinkle cream that does nothing, costs a lot, and advertises as a FREE trial. Yuck.

I am very sad that I did not read your review BEFORE I had ordered this product. I did not receive a full 14 days trial due to a holiday and mail was not delivering, then when I saw there wouldn’t be sufficent time to test this product I tried to call their toll free number and it was conviently out of service, was then directed to leave a message and they would get back to me, I am still waiting and my trial time expires today, their customer service link on their website seems to be out of order as well. Lesson well learned, ‘do not order anything over the internet and especially without checking the company out more closely. Thank you for reading my review, hopefully this will help another person who is line to get the ’shaft’. Carolyn C.

these people are a rip off got the cream used it one time face broke out called company returned product with in 5 days i even paid for the shipping returned and they still billed me had to go thru my bank to have them stop payment on them. lousey company and there product stinks.
BE AWARE OF THIS AD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This cream did absolutely NOTHING for my skin AND Hydrolyze has the crude sense of business to charge me for a product that was intended to be a free trial. If I had paid for this product I would not have bought it again - EVER. This product is nothing more than low grade lotion packed in a pretty container. I am ashamed companies such as Hydrolyze are doing business in this country - the business of scamming people for a worthles product.
i am living in missouri. Before i was use many aging cream.Recently i read on internet Dermarphil have trial product for 14 days.I tried but it made my skin hot and itching ,i am really not happy this product.I stopped use this product, during the time we went to another state ,this compant continue shipping product to us althought we didnt order,we called to company many times and want return but they were very rude, they just wanted get money from customer they didnt care anything……when we bought everything,we didnt happy we can return but this is really dupe company.Everybody need careful and watchful.Dermarphil is rob company.Very bad company
This really was a rip off and a nite mare for me. I wanted to try this product since it was free but ofcourse I did not read the small print and got prosecurted by it. I returned the bottles unopened that way I did not have to pay for the shippment, but all I wanted was my money back since I order four of them. It took me about two months and calling three times per week on my refund status and going on line talking to chat live, since the phone call take about 15 minutes to get to you, and no one knows what is going on. What a tragedy, I will never order any thing free anymore. I was just about to report them to the General tressure. But finally I got 347.86 back but I was sure they were not gone keep my money since I work so hard for it.
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.
What a rip off! These people ought to go to jail. They have no right to take advantage of the unassuming consumer. They make their money off the fine print and not their product. UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE. I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
PS: I returned all mailings from them, unopened. They refuse to acknowledge that.
yes ,there are many scams out there and this is one of them….it took 8 days from time of order to receive the product(a tiny plastic bottle w 1/2 oz. at best) . the 14 day return policy BEGINS at time of order leaving
maybe 1 or 2 days of use before you’d have to return it within 14 days and if they don’t receive it within that narrow window they’ll bill you again..
re continuing charges on credit cards, simply call your credit card co. and explain to them the fraud/scam and have them change your credit card # to a new one…they’re happy to help and once the old # is cancelled then no new charges can be applied to it. I f you do this proactively before the 14 day expiration then you will never actually be billed again.
overal rating on Dermapril 0 on a 5 scale or at most 1
I ordered the trials, which they sent two and charged me $11.50,which they claimed was for shipping, but the postage on the small package showed a cost of $1.85. I was unable to cancel out when it did not improve my skin, because I was not able to finish my cancellation before I was cut off. I tried the internet to cancel and could not find information on how to cancel. They did not want me to cancel so they could charge me $75.95 twice on next credit card statement, resulting in a charge of $159.90. I called them to refund the charges and they said they would if I returned the trail bottles. I told them I would if they would write me a statement that they would refund the $159.90 and I agreed to their insisting that it be through e-mail. I told them I needed assurance and that my computer could make a copy of this agreement. They have not sent me this agreement as they said that would do. Since then, I have receive two charges on my credit card for products that I did not order. When I called them, the recorded voice was the same as on the Dermapril and the background music was the same on both company. This company I think is a larger scammer than first thought. I will continue to inform Visa and Mastercard of these practices
This was a gift to me and I was honestly hopeful, after i got no results i have been very concerned about buying other products, are any not such a rip off?
I am not usually so naive. I purchased the “free” cream for the price of a bit jacked up postage. Then I read what the real cost was–cancelled on line for any future product–AND then was told I had to return the original bottle–even if empty within fourteen days or I would be charged $69.95.
I did return it within seven days–I didn’t care if the product worked–I am not paying that kind of money for that kind of schlock. About a month later I was billed the $69.95 anyway.
I appealed the purchase through the credit card company I had charged the product–and sent them the USPS receipt with the address that I had mailed the bottle. Discover card took the charge off immediately but it took the marketing company that pushes Dermapril more than a month to credit the charge properly.
Botton line this is a fraud and a marketing scheme that is based on all our desires to look a little better without having to do too much. If it looks too good to be true and there is no mention of what the bottomline cost is—–run don’t walk.
Dermapril SP does not work! Not only does it not do what it’s suppose to do but the company gets you in the back-end once you cancel your order. Other companies allow you to return the product and get a refund. DERMAPRIL WILL NOT! If your return your order and cancel. DERMAPRIL WILL NOT REFUND! They will tell you to keep the order and thank you for the $69.95 + $5.00 shipping even though we don’t honor our product. It’s yours and we won’t give you any money back! Take note before you order.
Thanks ofr the heads up and word of caution. I’ll keep looking a quality product that doesn’t hold my CC hostage and create a refund nightmare.
Still trying to get my card to stop being billed for this cream. It did very little to me, and I wish I had never started with this company. My credit card is hostage. I think I finally got it solved though. Be careful if you use this cream for that reason.. the cream itself isn’t the worst thing out there, but this ripoff monthly shipping should be illegal.
This aint no real company. I got straight robbed on my card three months and my man is mad as hell. It said free and they ripped me off and the cream aint doing nothing.
Thanks for the heads up. I ran into this ad but it seemed to good to be true so I started investigating and you have confirmed what I thought in the first place. Keep up the good work so more people don’t get caught. I guess we should accept to age with grace!
I agree that this Dermapril cream is a bit scandalous. I had NO chance of getting my refund before 14 days passed for their “free trial”. It’s a bit of a joke. The cream didn’t do anything to me and I immediately stopped using it. I felt suckered by this company.
This cream although it does have a peptide as it’s main ingredient did nothing to me. I knew I was joining the “automatic billing” thing, so that didn’t bother me. What did bother me though, is that the cream did very little, and customer service was WRECK when trying to communicate with them.
I thought it might have been because I am a guy, and maybe mens’ skin is tougher to improve than womens’. However, I tried other wrinkle creams (one on this site) and it worked much better. This cream is sort of a scam, and I would avoid it If i were you. Thanks.
This cream did absolutely nothing for me, and how dare they keep charging me. In this economy especially, people can’t afford this rip off stuff. I’m going to report them on ripoffreport.com and I believe others should too. This is just unfair.
I am a fairly well educated woman as far as wrinkle creams go. I’ve been using them for years, but only from my salon. I tried this internet wrinkle cream, and I learned my lesson the hard way. Not only does this cream do NOTHING but it’s very expensive for its grade of treatment. I have no problem paying hundreds for a cream that works, but this one doesn’t. It should be no more than $15 in my opinion.
I have to agree with the other reviews here. I got maybe a little less wrinkles around my eyes, but overall no improvement. Also, the improvement I DID see was after the 30 supply was finished, so getting the 14 day trial seemed impossible to know if it was working or not. Oh well.
