Rating 55/100
There is really a lot of promises and claims on this company’s website, and the website of its sales reps. It claims instant results and a FREE trial, so we gave it a look. On their website, we noticed a few miraculous before and after pictures, but there was really no scientific backup to WHY the product works, neither was there any evidence of clinical studies or documented proof. We thought it was little fishy, but we took a look at this wrinkle cream.
The Free*** Trial:
The company claims to offer a free trial however once you get to the final step of the sample ordering process, they disclose in ultra fine print that you are signing up to receive automatic shipments and charges on your credit card every 50 days until you call to cancel and return the product. We were able to find 53 individual complaints posted on Rip-off-report.com. In addition, the company has been given a D rating by the Better Business Bureau.
Guarantee:
30 Days - Money Back it claims on their site, but we saw quite a few complaints on ripoffreport.com that indicate that it’s not so easy to make them do it.
Summary:
Our opinion of this product is self evident, and we are basing it NOT on our usual “Buy it and Try it” methods. We got so many requests to publish a review of this product, so that people could voice their opinions that we put it here. However, we didnt actually TRY IT, because we frankly didnt want to sign up for the 50 day automatic billing they do, and get our credit card charged over and over. In essence, we were afraid to give them our Credit Card Number. Sorry folks, but I’m just a regular lady and don’t have a huge budget.
Based strictly on the Better Business Bureau, you should avoid them. Based on the TONS of complaints on the internet about them, you should be even more convinced. I did read a couple of seemingly honest reviews of them (not just complaints about over billing) and they said that the product burned their skin, and may have removed wrinkles for a minute while their skin was swollen.
Bottom Line is, I’d avoid this one, people. There are other, safer products on the market for you.

I no longer order directly from Hydroderm because their customer service is awful… but I absolutely love the product. I now order from Amazon.com, and the price is a lot cheaper (about $32 versus their $75). I have also heard you can find the product at GNC stores. Like another person posted above, I was not realizing just how much I loved it until I stopped using it and my wrinkles began returning. I too get many compliments on my skin and young appearance, and I’m 51. I’ve tried many other products, and keep returning to Hydroderm.
I’m sure it reacts differently with each individual. I think for some of us, it really works great. You just have to watch those fine print agreements… nothing is ever free, and often comes with a hefty backlash. Amazon.com solved that problem, but choose your vendor carefully. I always go with a 4.5 star vendor.
I have used this product for years and recently stopped using it only to find out that after 3 months my skin started to show significant regression. The under the eyes, around the mouth, and the forehead lines were more pronounced but as soon as I started using the product again my face became smooth and almost wrinkle free within a week. No product is going to give you INSTANT results. Remember that every one’s skin is different. I tried using other products just to see how this one compared and for me there is no comparison. So I will continue to use this and get those great compliments of “How old did you say you are?” “No way you are that age”. And as far as billing and canceling it was a breeze I just called.
I kind of liked it, I have read alot of wrinkle cream reviews saying this is a scam, but other than them billing me over and over it was a pleasureable experience
I was recommended this wrinkle cream or liquid or whatever its called by a website. They didn’t take orders on the internet, and I had to call on the phone. The thing did nothing and i’m not happy about it.
Hydroderm reviews were always that it was a top 5 wrinkle cream or serum or whatever, so I tried it. The website offered a free trial, but it ended up costing me for two months in a row, and I didn’t even want it. Anyway, I would have paid, because I wanted to try the cream. It gave me almost no results, and my skin turned red on the second day. Not really bad, but it was definately slightly red or rosy. I stopped using it at that point. I warn you to just keep in mind that if your skin has a tendency to react like this, you want to avoid hydroderm.
I got the cream and also the serum. I have to say that I liked the cream, but the serum really bothered my skin. Overall, I give a medium rating, but don’t recommend that you get it.
I knew I was getting the monthly membership, when I signed up, so I didn’t have a problem with that, like many of the other people here claim. However, I did not really feel like the serum was doing more than simply making my skin swell. It was like the wrinkles were lessenging, but only because my skin puffed up from an irritation. It just didn’t feel “healthy” to me. So, I stopped. Hope my two cents helps out others.
I had a fair experience with Hydroderm as far as results. I, however, ran into quite a problem when I was getting re-billed each month after I tried to cancel. It seems fairly common as I read other consumer affairs sites, too. I would like to just issue a warning that you had better keep an eye on the charges to your account if you use hydroderm. Other than that, it is an OK cream.. no worse or better than most of the others.
Dis product is wack. I got it from my girl, and it gave me blisters on my skin. Dont get dis wack cream.
I got a slight lift, but then started breaking out into red spots that took over a month to go away. I dont recommend this. oh, and then my credit card started getting hit each month and it took me 3 months to even figure it out and get it cancelled. Bad news.
Anyone who buys this product after reading all the scam reports across the internet deserves to get ripped off. I am one of the victims too, and urge you not to fall for this product.
RIP OFF REPORT> to those thinking of buying this, don’t. You get robbed on your credit card after.
This product irritated my skin as an exfoliant, due to the hydroxy acids. However, apart fromn that, it did nothign to give me a rejuvenated look. Overall i feel ripped off.
I didnt get any results from this product (the serum) besides a puffy eye area. I felt a little ripped off, and unfortunately had not found this site before buying. Oh well.. live and learn.
It’s a bad product. I mean you only have to go look on google for ‘hydroderm’ and you’ll read the horror shows. Need I say more?
Irritated my skin, and was IMPOSssible to get a refund for. I googled them afterward and found lots of other victims like me. I say stay away from this product.
When is someone going to put these people on a permanent warning list for rip-offs. This product does nothing and your credit card gets overwhelmed with charges.
This product does nothing. Avoid it.
I thought I was getting a Free Trial, and ended up paying lot of money. On top of that, I didnt see much results.
I saw a little bit of results with this product, but I didnt feel really satisfied. Cancelling was a pain in the butt royally, too.
