We rated this wrinkle cream overall a 24/100. It does have some nice peptides in the ingredient list, but we got very little results from it.
Our Testing Results for Hydrolyze:
From the onset we had some issues pertaining to the balance and substance of the cream. The product was uncomfortable to wear and felt tight on our skin from the very start. By the time our consumers reached the two week mark we had 3 users already removed from the tests due to irritation and the development of small bumps on the forehead. That was unfortunately not the end of our disappointment.
By the end of our testing period it became obvious that not only is the use of generic peptides not effective enough to make visible results, but the concentration of those bargain basement ingredients was so low, that it would take well over a year to see any sort of results.
The visual impression of Hydrolyze: The jar is nice.. heavy and of high quality. It seemed like they tried to make a cream that was luxurious. The product, however, was a bit of a disappointment knowing that we usually love products with the right concentration of peptides. However, I think this cream relied to heavily on just having Matrixl 3000, and not including other ingredients that are of the high-end nature.
Price of Hydrolyze: Well there is an auto-ship program where you just pay for shipping and handling, but then get billed every month. We’re not going to even entertain products who do this any more, as these offers are so deceptive. Luckily, though, Hydroxatone also offers a regular old buy 2, get one free promotion, without the autoship. Priced at around $130 for all three bottles, the price is about average for a wrinkle cream in this category.
Our Recommendation of Hydrolyze:
Users of this cream are on the right track, but nowhere near the right product. Yes, peptides and other regenerative ingredients are clearly the elite of wrinkle fighters, but you must use name brand ingredients. The difference in price is nominal, but the results are of a whole separate category. For the same money you would spend on this cream, you can purchase the pinnacle of skin rejuvenation. Stay away from this cream, while the science behind the product is substantiated, the manufacturer cut corners by including low amounts of imitation products, leaving you, the consumer, hanging out to dry.

I don’t even know how this Hydroxatone company is allowed to do business. They reel customer in by offering free samples in order to get your credit card information and then they bill you each month. When you call their customer service, they give you the run around and hang up in your face. You can try calling them but I guarantee you it will be a waste of your time. I’ve gotten numerous letters from them stating that I owe them money when I canceled this frivolous transaction immediately after receiving their product. I was so angry when I opened this package and looked at the invoice that I never even opened their “free sample” of eye cream (and supplements) that they shipped to me. However, from the other complaints that I’ve read, Hydroxatone AM/PM eye cream is nothing more than a skin moisturizer. I didn’t even order any supplements from this company, yet I have to pay to ship them back. This is a terrible, terrible scam and they should be sued!!! Where is a good lawyer when you need one?!
This is a Scam just to get your money it is no more than a moisturizer from the dollar store for a expensive price. When you try to return it the phone is either busy or the phone service is not working no body ever answer the phone line its all a big fat scam and lie.
Well i purchased the trial period of this crap and did not see results….I got a “free” gift of the vitiamns and the next couple of weeks my credit card was charged and more bottles were sent of vitiamins and cream…tired to cancel numerous times and every time after being on hold and i mentioned returns the phone magically dropped the call or they were having computer problems. This is a SCAM………I had to contact my bank to stop the charges from the autoship it was the only option because the company would not help me. My rating would and should be a big fat zero
Don’t waste your time and money on this one. They lied through their commercial. It stated will come with a jar free trial and free toner. Instead they sent me 2 jars and not toner and invoice stating my account will be charged for two jars after the trial. Who wanted 2 jars when you are testing a product?? When I called them back and you are right the customer dept is ridiculous. Took a long time for them to get on line and they don’t even have CRA which is credit return authorization which all other companies offer. I wanted to send it back right away after receiving the order because I get suspicious of what they sent to me. No instruction only pamphlets and invoice stating I will be charged for 2 jars which I didn’t request the next following months after trial. I tried any way but the product is terrible. It’s very oily and caused my skin to break out with pimples. Will send it back and make sure with tracking # since they only have ” PO Box address” There is no way to tell that they could claim never receive and charging to your account. Make sure you send with insurance or some kind of tracking. Not worth time or the money at all!!!!
I ordered the Hydroxatone under eye cream. I used it for two weeks. It did nothing. I called to return the three bottles, and was told to be sure to put a certain number on the outside of the box, and ask for a tracking number at the Post Office. The only way you can get a tracking number is to send it Express Mail which would cost $24 plus the cost of the shipping. I ended up sending it priority mail for $8 and insured it. If they claim they did not receive it I will file an insurance claim. You cannot send it back UPS because they only have a PO Box. I was told at the Mail It store to always be leary of anything without a street address. I am going to contact the BBB and also see if I can somehow turn the company into someone that investigates SCAMS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, because it is hard to get it back. I gave it one star because you have to rate it, and that is the lowest rating you can give.
Ordered this cream…it irritated my eyes and did not owrk on wrinkles. In order to cancel further shipments you have to send the product back!! Not sure why…are they recycling it??? I emptied the bottles before I sent them back because I had opened and used some out of both bottles.Seems like a scam I will be watching my credit card bill closely…
I bought this cream and used and it did not do anything they said, I returned the used botlle for a full refurnd because that was their “offer” thru the radio station. “try it, and if you don’t like it just simple return the bottle and will give you a refund” well I was still within my trial period and noticed it did nothing, I returned it and I was waiting for my refund in my credit card, well weeks passed and I called them, and they said….we didn’t receive the bottle at all, do you have a mailing confirmation??? of course after that long I probably lost it and they said ,well pay us the full amount, which I wasn’t going to do, because I did returned their product!!!!but how can you proove them??? I think they lied, and they are just a scam that will take your money at any cost. They sent me a letter saying the debt will go to my credit and ruin it!!!!!!!! WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!!!THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!!!THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS JUST MONEY!!!!!!!!!please DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the product does not live up to your claims. i paid $260.69 for a product that i feel is worthless. when i complained to coustomer service, was told that i’m stuck with it. I’m not a satisfied customer. The only reason I am rating you as a 1 STAR is because there is nothing lower.
I rate them 1. They are terrible they act like there computers are down all the time and then they hang up on you. A bunch of immature prankster kids work there I think. Product does not work so I am just going to Wal-Mart and find a cream I can get for like $20.00 and if that don’t work i’m just not going to worry about it anymore.
I sent for Hydroxatone AM/PM thru TV advertisement. First shipment I recieved was wrong order. They sent me replacement..still wrong (one hydroxatone was missing). I used the one sent plus the toner. Didn’t see any results. Called to cancel but was told the computers were down and someone would call me. No one called. Following day I called and after five minutes I was able to talk to someone. I returned eveything they sent. Hoping I won’t be charged anything on my credit card. Why doesn’t someone put a stop to them for false advertisement. I can’t even give them a one star on anything.
This cream came in a cool looking container, but that was the best part. It irritated my eyes and didn’t do a thing for my dark circles. I sent it back, as the guarantee stated, within the required time line and thought everything was as it should be. Then, a couple months later a $70 charge shows up on my card and when I called in about it, the guy tells me they can’t verify I sent it in without a tracking number. That was two months ago! Anyway, I called back and talked to another rep who said they rec’d my return, but it had been processed as vitamins. So she refunded the money, but does everything have to be a scam these days?
I ordered this product and paid s&h and assumed I would get the product but when I recieved the item I found only some pamplets, a magazine and the invoice. I tried to contact them but it took forever for them to answer the phone and when they finally answered and I told them I did not recieve the product just some pamplets, magazine and invoice, they put me on hold and then came back and hung up. I called another number they had listed and talked to another person and she said she was having computer trouble and asked if she could call me back. I gave her my number and never recieved a cal back. I don’t know what to do about this. I haven’t been able to try the product to see if I do like it but I already know that I don’t like the company and their customer service. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do about this?
This is nothing more than a moisturizer. Sure it costs more, but thats all, nice, smooth but not a real anti aging product.
I didn’t care for this cream. It looked a lot like a knockoff of the Freeze 24-7 cream, bur really did nothing for my skin. I wish I had researched more before buying it, as i would have saved some money.
I found this cream was very similar to alot of the ones out there. I got some moisture but that was about it. I saw no improvement to my wrinkles and I was using this cream on the “crows feet” wrinkles by my eyes. So, i don’t recommend this product for those wrinkles.
