This is a review of the 4 part collection of Perricone MD products that Perricone.com is referring to as “The best of Perricone”. It’s a nice little collection, and our review results are below.

The Citrus Facial Cleanser caught our eye, as tangerine oil is a favorite to have included in facial cleansers. It will restore luster and heal surface layers of your skin creating a more youthful appearance. The Perricone Citrus Facial Cleanser is a quality facial cleanser, although it is not the best that we have seen.
Advanced Face Firming Activator is claimed to be the Perricone best seller, and naturally we were excited to try this product. Designed to firm, tone and restore radiance by healing surface layers of the skin with the use of Alpha Lipoic Acid and DMAE. This product is a fantastic concept, although somewhere in the formulation the engineers missed the mark. The product does work on surface layers of the skin, but it does so rather slowly and the ingredients do not provide the same level of results as a Renovage based product would. Overall a decent product, but it may take many treatments to achieve the results you are looking for, maybe that’s why it’s the best seller.
Advanced Eye Area Therapy is designed to prevent and correct early signs of aging in the eye are. In other words, if you already have established eye wrinkles, bags or dark circles it is too late to use this product. It was with this product that we began to question the effectiveness of the system. An eye system designed to prevent is just another way of saying it is not effective enough to heal the more significant wrinkles and should not be used past middle age. A very concerning aspect if you are looking for an anti aging system.
Face Finishing Moisturizer is designed to be the last product applied to the face. A thicker cream, it is anti oxidant rich to protect the skin and again heal surface layers of the skin. If you don’t have oily skin or a problem with periodic breakouts this is a good cream, although we did note numerous cases of breakout with this one. It may be too rich for certain skin types, but otherwise a nice cream that is enjoyable to wear.
Overall
Our overall opinion of this system is that it is a decent value in terms of the number of products that you receive for the price, however we have some serious concerns regarding its anti aging treatment. Healing wrinkles and fine lines starts on the cellular level of the skin and these products are designed to treat only the surface layers. This means that essentially they are preventative and can be use to prolong luster and radiance, but they will not actually treat or heal the existing signs of aging. Wrinkles are not diminished significantly, however it does deliver the radiance and luster that it promises. If you understand that you are not going to solve any existing problems, then this system is a good choice. But for those of us who are looking to heal wrinkles that we already have, we have to look for product designed to treat our desired symptoms.
