Wrinkle Cream Reviews Rating: 20/100
The Dermapril-SP website had us pretty excited when we visited it at first. How we came upon the site was by reading some reviews on wrinkle cream review sites. ALL the reviews we read of Dermapril SP were from affiliates (who got paid when we bought Dermapril), so we knew right away there was a conflict of interest when believing their review of this product.
This product is also one of those “Forced Auto Ship” wrinkle creams, which are extremely unpopular with many people who don’t realize what they’re getting into when they buy.
At any rate, this wrinkle cream is pretty well known on the web, so we thought we’d give it a try and share our experience with our readers.
First Impressions:
Cool bottle, that comes in a box. It’s sort of metallic and modern looking, so we were kind of excited to try who LOOKED like a new age wrinkle cream. After we gave it a shot, though, we were less excited.
What’s in this wrinkle cream:
The only ingredient of note in Dermapril is Matrixyl 3000. Mind you, that this is not the original Matrixyl, but the new ingredient from the same manufacturer which is their “udpated version”. It is still an effective peptide based wrinkle solution, which we usually like. The thing is though, Dermapril has NO other real ingredients with scientific backup in it. They do have palmitoyl oligopeptide, which is effective in some other wrinkle creams we’ve reviewed.
The Deal when you buy this wrinkle cream:
OK, get ready.. You only pay shipping and handling AT FIRST for this product. They basically give it away for your first supply. Then you are given 14 days to try it and decide if you want it, or if you want to return it. Really.. who the heck could tell if a wrinkle cream is really working, in only 14 days. The point is, they KNOW nobody could really tell, but they play the odds, that most buyers won’t get the product returned in time to take advantage of the refund.
What happens after the 14 day period, is that you are billed about $70 A MONTH each month thereafter. So, your FREE Trial really costs like $69, and then you had better get ready to pay again and again each month. The website is a very slick sales machine. They basically put in bold writing and in colorful graphics, words like FREE, and then you get charged for it on a recurring basis.
Why We Didn’t Like Dermapril:
The main reason is the sneaky billing policies and short refund time. It even says in their FAQ section that any pump shipped after 14 days is 100% NON refundable. I mean they put it in the small writing, but then put in HUGE BOLD TEXT, the word FREE. Our staff really hates sneaky marketing like this, as it does nothing but cause consumers trouble.
Did the Wrinkle Cream Work?
If the wrinkle cream worked wonders, we might have overlooked the deceptive marketing they use. However, in the 14 days we were given to try the product (and it must be all they expect you to try it for), we say absolutely NO results whatsoever. It was a complete disappointment.
Did We Get the Refund?
We shall let you know. Our test orderer has not yet received the refund, and we DID comply with the 14 day rule. We are not hopeful, but we’ll see what happens.
Bottom Line: Get a different wrinkle cream, and don’t expect to get anything for free. It is much better to buy something that really works, than to fall victim to a wrinkle cream that does nothing, costs a lot, and advertises as a FREE trial. Yuck.
